  11. This is my second contribution to the AFCD Gallery.        
  12. 'Xenophobe' was first published way back in 1991 in         
  13. Noel K. Hannan's small press comics mag 'Nightfall'.          
  14. It was originally done as black and white line art.                   
  15. The Amiga version was scanned from the original A4                 
  16. art, converted to 64 colour greyscale then toned
  17. and shaded in Brilliance and airbrushed in Image FX.           
  18. The greyscales were then converted to Ham8 and coloured     
  19. using tint and transparency tools (rather like colouring      
  20. black and white photos with transparent dyes). They
  21. were then converted to dithered 256 colour, lettered 
  22. and saved as gifs.  All the work was done on an A1200 
  23. with 8Mbs in Productivity mode. Each page took about 
  24. a day to colour and letter.
